In a medium bowl, beat the butter for 2-4 minutes, until the mixture gets light and fluffy. Then add the water and keep stirring.
Add the kourampiedes mixture and stir for 2 minutes and then add the almonds and stir for another 1 minute.
With a tablespoon, scoop out 1-inch pieces of dough and roll into balls between the palms of your hands. Pinch the ends of the balls to make a football shape. Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheets
